Based on feedback from our partners on the amount of time cases are remaining active on our website following this 15-day period, we will now update cases to reflect cancelled status on our website after the 15-day customer outreach period ends. On the plus side, the customer can still complete their interview online or over the phone after 15 days, for up to 12 months (or for 6 months age 71+)!
This process enhancement will enable you to focus on your active cases while still allowing flexibility for customers to restart the application process for cancelled cases when they are ready to proceed.
In order to reopen a cancelled case, the customer will need to visit Protective.com/myapplication to complete their Online Interview, or call 1-888-800-6608 to complete the interview by phone.
